Since so many applicants apply to
business school because they wish to pursue a popular
MBA career path such as
management consulting, investment banking, or venture
capital, we decided it only made sense to add a section
to our books review on these jobs. While we readily acknowledge
that many MBAs pursue careers paths in Fortune 500s and
small start ups, the following three professions tend
to attract the most interest and questions.

This insightful book is a fast and easy
read, which is certainly important for MBA aspirants,
students and newly minted graduates. The author does a
good job of presenting pointers in an entertaining and
rather straightforward manner that clearly show the
difference between top performers (rock stars) and every
one else truly are the little things.

Tom Connellan

New York Times best-selling author
Tom Connellan has written another gem with this book.
This 150 page book (we don't count the "About" or
"Acknowledgements" that comprise the last 3 numbered
pages) is a great read for a quick flight. Even if you
only internalize two or three of the many points made,
it will be well worth the cost and time investment.
