A Round 3 application may be worth a try, "As long as the 'why 3rd round' question is addressed in the application," says Mark.
The real issue that applicants should consider is whether their application makes the best possible case for accepting them into a competitive program, or whether it still needs more work.
"It is always better to apply when the applicant feels that he or she has put every possible effort into making sure their essays, et cetera are as good as they could possibly be,"
says Mark. "Round 2 is not a better choice than Round 3 if the application couldn't do the best job possible."
