Thank you to the nearly 200
people who participated in this unscientific poll
conducted in the early spring of 2006. Here
are the results.
Question: Of the following skills, which are
you most looking forward to gaining from b-school?
We didn't
receive any emails about this particular poll. We're
certainly aware that pre-MBA expectations do not always
match up perfectly with post-MBA realizations and we
believe this poll is one such illustration. While we
didn't conduct an unscientific poll of MBA graduates, we
believe that while strategy may have been the most
popular, soft skills other than leadership would have
received many more votes.
We update
our poll periodically and we will continue to archive
the results of the previous polls so you can see how
other business school applicants voted on those topics
as well.
